Round Area Rugs -- Where to Buy a Round Area Rug Online

A round area rug is pretty much any rug that is round and fills up part of -- but not all of -- a room. For some of you, I have just stated the obvious. For others, you may be saying, "Wow, Marley! What a broad definition for round area rugs." Fair enough, but that is the world as I see it ;-). With such a broad definition, it turns out there is a ton -- maybe two -- of round rugs online. My goal therefore, is to look at a number of sites that sell these rugs, tell you what's what and where's where -- dadaism alert! -- and hopefully provide you with something halfway interesting and useful. If I can do that, then I feel I'll one day be an accomplished hubber.

Now, let us discuss those places you can get a round rug online. Over at the eCommerce site everybody knows -- Amazon -- there are -- and I would imagine, always will be -- a number of round rugs available. They sell almost everything, but that is also the drawback -- the selling of everything. While you may be able to find a rug at Amazon that you would not find elsewhere (I'm saying it's plausible), theirs is not the widest selection of round area rugs online.

Take for example, Overstock.com. At this writing, they have way more round rugs for areas than does Amazon. In addition, the rugs actually come in an array of styles. Take "rug", add "style", and you have got something. (I know, I know, it's "rug style", but it's also a good selection.) I was honestly surprised at the variety of round rugs I found on Overstock today.

ContemporaryRugs.com is another site with round area rugs available. I must admit though, it is not a broad selection, and you have to dig a bit to find round rugs there. The same could be said for BoldRugs.com. They do have bold rugs. They do not have many round rugs as of this writing.

The best selection I found today was at a site called AddARug.com. I was amazed at the apparent robustness of their electronic catalog. They offer not only a lot - a whole lot -- of rugs, but also about a billion trillion -- okay, I'm exaggerating. It's a lot of round rugs. You can drill down by style and size and see specific round rugs. They have no shortage of selection, nor lack of price ranges. Marley likey.
