Zebra Rug

I love a good animal print rug. Let me stress, I am sold on the faux. No animal need die for my interior design. To killing for fur and hides, this gal says no! Faux is the only way to go! My favorite animal print rug type is zebra print. The zebra rug is the perfect animal print rug, in my opinion. It is not too loud, and not too understated. It is just right. In this hub, I will dedicate the info to zebra print rugs, so you will know where to buy them, and where to put them when you do buy them. I hope you will find this hub special -- special like I find the zebra rug. In my mind, this type of rug is both unique and versatile, because the effect a zebra rug has on a room may be rustic, or it may be super-modern.

It all depends upon the rug design you buy and the other elements of your room.

Yes, your other room elements combined with your zebra rug determine the room's feel. The zebra print may give a room character, but it is not the end all. Each design element plays on the others in your room. And with a zebra rug involved, you can hit the look just right, or way wrong. If interior design is important to you, be careful how you use this kind of rug. On the other hand, if design is not all that important to you, have fun! Heck, get the loudest rug you can find. After all, you only live once!

Once you buy your zebra print rug, you might be interested in guidance on where to put it. The best advice would come from an interior designer. If you haven't hired one of those, then I shall try to provide the second best advice. Of course, the best placement for your rug depends somewhat upon the size and shape you buy. Most of the zebra rugs available online are rectangular and would do well as more or less a centerpiece for furniture -- as in a living room setting. If a larger transitional rug is your interest, you can find those in zebra. My guess is, if you know what a transitional rug is, you already know where it goes.

A very fun place to put most any zebra rug (anything smaller than transitional size) is a on a wall. Hanging rugs as wall art is nothing new. I just think it really suits a zebra print design.

The choice is yours. Wherever you place your rug, I suggest you marry it with solid, one-color furniture. This is a good way to avoid having your room go uber-loud. For what it is worth, I prefer modern, square styles in furniture.

When you shop for zebra rugs online, there are a number of places you can turn. There is no one, great zebra rug source, but many sites do sell zebra print, and other animal print rugs.

Hopefully, this hub will become your top zebra design rug resource. It is certainly my pleasure to write about the subject.

Hello and thanks for the topic of this beautiful site.

I am Italian and for this I apologize for my bad English:)))

I'm crazy for zebra rugs.

I wanted to buy the classic printed leather rugs but I do not have the courage if I think an animal like the cow was killed, although not primarily for the skin.

I want to fall back on a carpet "normal" zebra

I'd like a very large lounge.

I would like some advice on where you buy it online, because the choice is greater.

In some areas of the room I think to match the carpet "flokati" whom I love very much because it recalls the '60s-'70s decor years: I'm a fan of this period.

You can help me?

Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello ...

I forgot to mention that, thinking well, I am against the use of REAL zebra skin rugs, as in this case the animal is killed for its ski.

The question on the rug for cow zebra print is different because the cow is not a furry animal, but rather for the nutritional support.

You as think?
